After a very successful show in 2014, Meet the Manufacturer is returning in 2015 at London's historic Tabacco Dock. This unique trade show - the only major sourcing event specifically for British only manufacturers of clothing, textiles and leather goods, is brought to you by Make it British a website dedicated to UK manufacturing.

Meet the Manufacturer 2015 will showcase over 100 of the best British clothing manufacturers, textile mills, leather-goods makers and suppliers to the UK apparel and textile industry.

The Meet the Manufacturer conference will run from 9am to 1pm both days of the event. The leading industry speakers, including;

Patrick Grant, Director, Norton & Sons and E. Tautz. Patrick is also a regular on the BBC both on television and radio, including the major documentaries Savile Row, Harris Tweed, and The Perfect Suit, and the on-going BBC2 Series The Great British Sewing Bee.

Caroline Rush CBE, Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council,She has 20 years of experience in marketing and PR across both consumer and corporate communications in fashion, music and lifestyle sectors and has managed her own business for five years, during which time she delivered strategic communications and full press office function for the British Fashion Council.

Emma Willis, English shirt maker in London, trained at the Slade School of Art before starting her business in 1987, designing and making men’s luxury shirts, all made in England. Emma will be telling us all about her experiences of opening her Gloucestershire factory and the work she is doing to create a whole new generation of luxury shirt-makers. There will be lots of break out space and networking areas at the new venue so there will be plenty of opportunity to mingle with everyone in the industry.
