"It all started in 2004 with a problem –  sleepless nights. The need for a snugly garment to keep my 3 year old daughter, Lilly, warm  so that we could all sleep through. The problem was that I needed something that wasn’t available anywhere on the High Street or online… A Onesie.
But not just a Onesie, I needed a garment where I could specify the size and choose the features, I didn’t want a hood or feet for Lilly. I wanted to be the designer and create the Onesie that I wish existed. I wanted to be able to choose the fabric thickness no matter what time of year it was.

So this is what I created. A website where you can Create-your-Own Onesie in the size that you need whether it was for a baby, a child or an adult. In the fabric type and colour or pattern combination that is unique to you, with the ability to add the finishing touches by customising and personalising to make it yours. "

Why We Do What We Do

We love the personal touch of creating something especially for you. When something has been designed by you and is handmade by us, there is something very special about that whole process. Since we began in 2008 we have always made to order. We wanted to change how people bought clothes. We only make what you ask for, which keeps waste to a minimum. We don’t have clearance sales to off load stock, as there is no excess created.

The onesie that you design means something to all of us as we have an emotional connection to it. It becomes personal and something much more than just a Onesie. It all starts with your desire to create the Onesie that you wish existed, in size, warmth and features. As you design it on the 3D Onesie builder it takes on a character of its own, once made it becomes your companion, your go to garment for when you get home at night, your festival friend, your pick-me-up when you’re feeling poorly. Your very own unique Onesie that has been hand made with love, will last a lifetime and will reduce your carbon footprint. We also offer a TLC service so when it does need a new zip, cuffs or feet you can send it right back for a touch of pampering. Create-Your-Own is the way forward, not mass production, creating an individual garment that you will cherish for years to come.

Although we offer a wide selection of sizes on our Personalised Onesie Builder - 0-3 Months - 8XL and even Maternity Onesies we also offer a Made-to-Measure Service, so if you would like to let us know any specific measurements, or have any special design requirements, you can let us know, and our Development Team will be more than happy to help.

All of our Onesies are ethically handmade right here in the beautiful county of Northumberland.

Fast Turnaround

'I ordered my tailor-made Onesie on a Monday afternoon (including an additional order for a pair of matching, tailor-made Short Bootsies) and they were both delivered to my home on Thursday afternoon. This would be good for an off-the-peg item but is quite stunning for a made-to-measure garment and easily rivals the ’24-hour tailoring’ you can only obtain in the Far East – and then only to personal shoppers!'

We can even cater for special dates, so if you need your Onesie before a certain date, our team will work their hardest to get your Onesie out to you in time.

We even offer a free Fabric Swatch Service, so if there are any fabrics you'd like to see before ordering, you can just let us know and we'll put together your Fabric Sample pack with the specific fabrics you requested.

As we love seeing your Onesie Creations, we run our Monthly Adventure Competition so you can send us photos and videos of you in your Onesies to be in with a chance of winning a £100 Gift Voucher to spend on your next creation.

Each Onesie is individually cut, sewn and embroidered with pride by our team of expert cutters and machinists using traditional skills that have been passed down through generations.

The passion and skills need to be passed to the next generations, we have the most amazing skills in this region of Northumberland, a county where the textile industry thrived until the 1980’s. We now have an opportunity to invest in these skills and by creating new apprenticeships we can pass the knowledge to the next generation. The art of making something for someone is so special, we cannot let this die, we are passionate about linking state of the art technology with traditional skills to keep these precious skills alive.

We share our knowledge with local schools, colleges and universities by hosting enterprise workshops within our factory. We help to inspire the next generation into the industry and into enterprise. Kate is now an Enterprise Adviser through the North East Local Enterprise Partnership for James Calvert Spence School in Amble who is working with Ford Next Generation Learning USA to link education with enterprise and the community. We aim to share employ-ability skills with students and to introduce them to the companies on their doorstep through our network who may be able to provide future employment and training. We are doing this through project led learning, which links the curriculum to industry to give real life experiences and challenges in a safe environment in an exciting and relevant way.

Our ever-growing Fabric Range is full of Snuggletastic fabrics from Cotton Jersey, Luxurious Bamboo Towelling, Supersoft Cuddle Fleece, Organic Cotton and Plush Sweatshirt - to name but a few! All of our fabrics come in a range of different colours and patterns, so you're sure to find a fabric, or two, to suit you.

We always make sure our Fabrics are high quality, so we carry out a range of tests from cutting and sewing samples, to wash tests, making sure there's no colour run or shrinkage.

Totally Create-your-Own

We know that everyone is unique, so rather than offering you a collection of off-the-shelf products, we offer you the chance to Create your very own Onesieon our Personalised Online All-in-One Onesie builder, which is compatible on desktops, tablets and mobile phones and allows you to create your onesie to your very own specifications.

As well as being able to mix and match various fabrics to Create-your-Own colour combinations, hoods, feet, pockets, ears and tails can be added to your Onesie. You can take personalisation one step further by adding embroidery, whether it be a name, message or image - it's totally up to you!

Baby Bank Donations

The off cuts from your order will be used to create onesies for baby banks and women’s refuge centres.

We have donated the Onesies that have been used for photo shoots to baby banks and women’s refuge centres too with an aim of bringing warmth, fun and happiness to everyone who wears our Onesies.

Smaller off cuts are donated to local creative projects, fundraising and craft activities.

So much better to be able to repair your loyal trusted Onesie companion rather than replace it completely, when it just needs a little TLC.

100% recyclable and carbon balanced, our "Thank You" cards are now made using paper that is either FSC or PEFC accredited too, and is sourced from managed, sustainable woodland!

The Sensory Onesie

Working alongside The National Autistic Society, we wanted to create clothing that could make everyone feel Snuggeltastic®.

NAS arranged for children with Autism to come and visit us here at The All-in-One Company to help us design a Onesie that was suitable to wear.

In March 2017, we launched the worlds first Sensory Onesie.

Sewn in a way that seams feel seamless, there is nothing that causes irritation.

No labels are sewn into the Onesie, and you can request a complimentary fabric sample pack with our 'Feel First' service, so you can select the fabric that feels best for you, just email [email protected].

There are absolutely no limitations, you can still design your Onesie exactly how you want it, from hoods, tails, feet, ears and even embroidery.

Inside the onesie, you'll find a zip cover in the fabric you have selected so it'll feel nice and soft against the skin. Any embroidery will also have a fabric backing to prevent any discomfort.

With each Sensory Onesie Sale we donate 5% to The National Autistic Society as a thank you for helping us create the Sensory Onesie.
