Toby Lee - Onesie Wearing Guitar Hero to West End Superstar!

Posted on: 15/11/2016

From Sunday Morning Onesie Jams to Saturday Night West End Musicals!

More than a million people have watched Toby Lee, the incredibly talented 11-year-old schoolboy from Oxfordshire play his guitar in home videos that have been posted on both his Youtube Channel and Facebook page.

His Onesie Jam dedicated to BB King, has been viewed more than 5 million times on Facebook alone!

Toby’s love of Onesies inspired him to start doing a ‘Onesie Jam’, which became a regular event with weekly instalments every Sunday morning last year. We thought Toby was fabulous, and after being contacted by his Dad, we soon became suppliers of Toby's handmade personalised Onesies for his Sunday Onesie Jam videos - and they're all available to buy in Toby Lee's Onesie Jam Collection on our website. toby-lee-collection

Toby has already gathered millions of fans across the world including blues legend Bernie Marsden whom he has met, and Mick Box, lead guitarist of Uriah Heep, Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans, and legendary Radio 2 newsreader Moira Stewart. Toby has also been filmed by the BBC, performing at his school. He has been championed by a Seattle-based rock and blues radio station as well as having the opportunity to play on Chris Evan’s Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

Global blues supremo Joe Bonamassa described Toby as “One of the future superstars of the blues”.

If that wasn’t enough, Toby’s amazing talent doesn’t come from a piece of paper – he doesn’t even read music yet! Specialising in Blues, Toby’s music is self-taught. Toby plays by ear, and certainly puts his heart and soul into the music he creates.

Since then, Toby has been up to lots of exciting things, and his most recent adventure takes him to the West End...

That's right  - Toby Lee has been selected to play in Andrew Lloyd Webber's production of The School of Rock! The show looks mind blowingly fantastic, and we'd like to say a HUGE congratulations to Toby - you ROCK!
