Onesie Winter Warming Hot Chocolate
The clocks went back, and the cold, dark nights are setting in thick and fast. When the weather starts to get gloomy, we all need a little pick me up, so what better that a snuggly onesie and a lovely hot chocolate? Here's some of our favourite hot chocolate recipes paired with a matching onesieto warm you on the inside and out!Hot Chocolate - The Hairy Bikers
Ingredients;
1 vanilla pod, split and seeds scraped out1 cinnamon stick1 litre/1¾ pints milk150g/5½oz plain chocolate, chopped into small piecessugar, to tastefreshly grated nutmeg, for dustingMethod;
Heat the vanilla pod and seeds, cinnamon stick and milk in a saucepan until boiling.Remove the pan from the heat and add the chocolate pieces, stirring until the chocolate melts.
Whisk the hot chocolate vigorously until frothy on top and add sugar, to taste. Serve with a dusting of nutmeg.

Ingredients;
600ml milk142ml pot double cream100g chopped chocolate
Method
Pour the milk, double cream and chopped chocolate into a pan.
Bring gently to the boil, whisking until smooth.
Serve in individual cups or mugs topped with mini marshmallows and a little grated chocolate.

White-Chocolate Hot Cocoa with Coconut - Martha Stewart

8 ounces whole milk8 ounces unsweetened coconut milk8 ounces heavy cream
5 ounces white chocolate, chopped
Directions;
Warm milk, coconut milk, and cream in a medium saucepan over a medium-low heat.Add chocolate, and whisk until melted and combined.
Continue to warm mixture until thick, about 5 minutes.

Peppermint Hot Chocolate;

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder1 quart milk1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips (3 ounces)7 peppermint sticks; 3 crushed (1/4 cup), 4 left wholepinch of salt
Directions
Place cocoa in a medium saucepan. Gradually whisk in milk until cocoa has dissolved. Add chocolate chips and crushed peppermint; simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until chocolate and peppermint have melted, 8 to 10 minutes.
Bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat. Add salt. Ladle into mugs; serve each with a peppermint stick.
