 Phillip's Onesie Adventure Part 2

Onesies Around The World So after getting my bearings and finally getting over some horrid jet lag, it was time to explore London. My 3rd visit to this grand old city full of history and culture. No sooner had I got over the jet lag, it was out to Twickenham Stadium to watch the 6 Nations clash between England and Wales. As a mad rugby fan here in Australia, it was such an experience to see a game at one of the worlds iconic stadiums. The singing, the passion of the crowd really sent shivers up my spine. Touring around London was great.. Jumping on the tube at Green Park got me everywhere across London. Checking out Buckingham Palace, The Churchill War Rooms, Trafalgar & Leicester Square, and of course the iconic Harrods and Fortnum & Mason department stores. Monday morning came and it was on the phone to Rachel at The All-in-One Company®… Yes to order another onesie:) Rach was so helpful in her assistance with me over the phone and it was nice to speak to her using a local call, not a international call. I had placed an order for a bespoke onesie before I left Australia and the lovely Kate looked after that one… I couldn’t wait for my new onesiesto be delivered to The Ritz, but this will happen when I come back to London after my French affair!! However, it was 3 nights in London and then on the Eurostar to Paris. For someone who when I have to cross an international border by air or by sea, it was an amazing experience jumping on the train from St Pancras station to Paris Gard Du Nord Station. 3hrs later I’m in the middle of the french capital. 3 nights in Paris checking out Champs Elysses, Place de Concorde, Arch de Triomph, Eiffel Tower, The Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and the list goes on. So much to see and do in Paris. My French sadly however let me down BADLY!!! My taste of the French Capital was complete with creme brûlée and rose wine with dinner… Love it! My eyes have well and truly been opened with this little snippet of Paris and French cuisine. Another couple of days would have been perfect, but not to worry, there will be another time. Onesies Around The World So, after a whirlwind tour of the delightful Paris, its back on the Eurostar to London as the World Tour continues… Late this afternoon I’m back at The Ritz Hotel where I decided to upgrade myself into a suite overlooking Piccadilly. As a travel agent, I did get a cheaper upgrade :)… The Ritz also had a special item waiting for me at reception… Yes its my ONESIESfrom The All In One Company®… Arrived just when Kate said they would and I was so happy. I was glad they had arrived so quick because later in the trip I would be needing them for sure. Once I’m checked into my room and my bags had been delivered to me, it was straight into my onesie for some relax time. So London, how I love you. The next day, I tootled off to Waterloo to pick up my rental car that I would have for the next 3 and a bit weeks as I travel around the UK. I think I walked the entirety of Westminster and City of London. Seeing so many sights.. Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Bond Street, The Shard, The Walkie Talkie, Big Ben and The London Eye. I think I crammed everything in, no doubt I missed some sights. Onesies Around The World Having the car, meant I could also drive around with no problems. Good thing about England and Australia we both drive on the SAME side of the road and we have similar road rules, so driving was a piece of cake. I did learn one thing though… DONT ORDER A GLASS OF MILK ROOM SERVICE AT THE RITZ….. It was THE MOST EXPENSIVE glass of milk I’ve ever had… 5 pound for the room service and 4 pound for the glass… In my terms, that about $20 Australian Dollars. Next day I went to Marks & Spencer and bought a bottle for 2 pound haha. So after much sightseeing in London and after 5 more nights since my arrival back from Paris, it was off to Bath and the road trip begins….
