From Off-Cuts, to Teddies and Quilts
It was lovely to see what Usworth Quilters have been creating with our
onesie off-cuts, this morning.
Usworth Quilters is an organisation in which people gather together to make quilts for children when admitted to hospital long term. These quilts act as a comfort blanket and are a keepsake for the child.
We donated some of our onesie offcuts to the Quilters, and because of this, they can now line their blankets with snuggly, cuddly fabrics, to keep the children extra cosy.
Check out these lovely little
onesie friends! Made, from of course, our off cuts!
These little
onesie friends are being created for the Usworth Quilters Quilt Show 2014. This is to be held at High Usworth Trinity Church and Hall in Usworth, Washington on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th May. (Psssst! The one on the left is ours to keep!)
We love working along side different charities and organisations, and seeing our offcuts going towards amazing things, and we definitely think Usworth Quilters is one of them. Their charity quilts are in aid of Macmillan nurses, and we're so proud and honoured to be part of that.
