Glastonbury - A Onesie Welcome Home!

Posted on: 30/06/2016

Glastonbury Festival 2016 took place this weekend, and although the wet and rainy weather may have caused major disruptions, it didn't seem to dampen anyone's spirits! In fact, festival goer's had a brilliant time - and those who didn't get to attend this year watched in awe at home at brilliant live performances by various artists. Glastonbury 2016 They say all good things come to end, and just as the saying goes, Glastonbury has come to a close for another year and it's time to get back to reality. You've managed to load the car back up with muddy wellies, smelly clothes, and the soggy, dirty tent? Well, it's shoved in there somewhere. You're probably feeling damp, worn out, and perhaps a little bit achy, and the thought of a nice hot meal after a long soak in a deep bubble bath has probably never sounded better. So, we thought we'd ease back into the day to day of every day living one step at a time.

  1. Take a bath. A long one. Feel free to stay in there all day if you must. Mud may be good for your skin, but 5-day old crusty festival mud probably isn't the best thing to leave on there.

  2. Step into the most soft and luxurious Create-your-Own Onesie you've ever stepped into before. After 5 days of raincoats and wellies, this is going to be the best thing you've done all week. Put on your All-in-One Company Onesie and indulge on the snuggletastic-ness. Feel free to repeat this step as often as necessary. After the bath, before the bath, in the morning, at night, in the afternoon, after work, before work - even at work (we won't judge you). BRP12.11.13-822

  3. If you were unable to complete step 2, don't worry, we've got your back.  You can start creating your very own Onesie on our Personalised Onesie Builder.

  4. Eat a nice hot dinner. You probably haven't had a comforting hot meal in awhile, so take the time and rustle up something delicious. Head to our World of Deliciousness Blog page to find some of our favourite recipes from soups, hot chocolate, crumbles, cakes and even the perfect roast. BRP091012-2398-1

  5. Take a nap, whether it's 2 hours or 2 days - you need a good nights sleep. It's tiring having some much fun dancing and signing and drinking and having the most amazing time, so take some time out to rest.

  6. Time to start looking for the next festival to attend. The post-Glastonbury Blues are probably going to start kicking in around about now, and somehow the pictures on Instagram and your iTunes playlist will never match up to the real thing. We know what you're thinking, you've just recovered from the last one - but don't worry, your onesie will always be there to welcome you home, one festival at a time. BRP12.11.13-83
