Creative Ways to Countdown to Christmas

Have you started counting down to Christmas yet? With the 1st of December arriving next week, it's time to get your advent calenders sorted! Creating your very own advent calender can be the perfect onesie activity. To help you out, here's some of our favourite DIY Advent Calenders (with a little help from Pinterest of course!)

Santa's Beard

Creative Ways to Countdown to Christmas

This Advent Calender is easy to make! All you need to do is draw Santa's face and beard on to a sheet of card. Write the numbers 1-24 (or 25) in his beard. Once a day has passed, stick on a ball of cotton wool to cover the date. By Christmas Day Santa's beard will be complete!

Baking Tray Countdown

A big part of Christmas is all the yummy food we get to eat, and this advent calender is perfect for the avid baker!

All you need to do is cover each hole on the muffin tray with a circle of card ( these can represent baubles). Each time a day has passed peel off the card - and because there are holes, you can even fill them with little chocolates or treats to enjoy every day.

Stocking Bunting

We love this stocking bunting Calender! Whether you make your bunting out of card or fleece, you can fill each little stocking with a chocolate treat. Not only is this a great way to countdown to Christmas, but it also makes a fabulous Christmas decoration.

Fleece Advent Calender

This Advent Calender can be made from our Offcut fleece fabric! We've even made one ourselves so we can countdown the days until Christmas here at Onesie HQ.
