Onesie Step-by-Step Guide - Succulents
You may have read in one of our previous blog posts that we were going to have a go at planting our very own succulents!
Today, Becky, Mandy, and Rachel tried their hand at gardening!
If you'd like to have a go at planting your very own Succulents - The All-in-One Company Style, then follow our step-by-step guide!
What you will need;
- Succulents
- Something to put them in (Containers, pots etc)
-A Tray
-Soil
-Gravel
-Collection of seashells, wood etc for decoration
Step 1 :
Fill the bottom of your chosen container with gravel. We used 1-2 inches of gravel, but the amount will vary depending on the size of your container.
Step 2:
Add your soil. (Don't worry, you can use gloves for this bit - it does get a little messy!) We added just enough soil so that half of our container was filled.
Step 3:
Once your container is half full, it's then time to take your Succulent out of it's original pot and place it in it's new home.
Step 4:
Now your plant has been safely placed into it's new home, you can go back and fill any empty spaces with soil.
Step 5:
Ta-dah! You're all done in 5 easy steps! All you need to do now is position your succulents. We've placed our succulents in our office!
Top -tip - Don't forget to water your plants as soon as you replant them.
We didn't stop there! We kept 2 of our succulents on their original pots and created a beautiful seaside display with shells, and wood Kate had collected from the beach.
All we did was place our succulents onto a tray, decorated with our seashells, and for an extra touch, we used some of our
offcut fabric to create a bow around each pot.
Will you be giving it a go?
You can be as creative as you'd like - using different pots, buckets, cups and containers, adding gravel to the top of your soil, and even adding little accessories such as this super cute dinosaur!
