  Calling all choco-holics! It's National Chocolate Week! - Yes, that is a perfectly valid excuse to eat as much chocolate as you like! Whether you like dark chocolate, milk chocolate or white chocolate, it's a week to celebrate (and eat) them all. Just thinking about them makes me hungry! Apart from the delicious taste and texture that makes us happy, chocolate does actually make us feel good! It is thought that substances like serotonin and phenylethylamine produce a high in your brain that makes you feel good! Did you know that the Spanish kept cocoa a secret for over a century? After one of Christopher Columbus's ambassadors (who first received cocoa as a gift) took it back to Spain in 1527, the Spanish taxed it so highly that only the rich people could afford it!
