Onesie Carfest

Carfest South begins today, 22nd August 2014! BBC Radio 2 presenter, Chris Evans will be hosting a fun-filled show, full of fabulous music! Some of the acts that have been revealed include; Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Feeling, Toploader, Kaiser Chiefs, Seasick Steve and Eliza Doolittle! Of course there'll be lots of cars to see too, including; VW Campers, MG Owners Club, BMW Car Club, Porsche Club GB, Lotus 7 Club. Not to mention the 7 amazing cars that you'll have the chance of taking a dream ride in  - Lamborghini Aventador Roadster Lamborghini Jota, Aston Martin DBR2 recreation, GTD40 Gulf colours, Lola T70 Spyder, Ferrari California 30, and Bentley Mulsanne. There'll also be a VW Camper van renovation taking place over the weekend too. The standard camper van will be turned into a masterpiece right in front of your eyes - and that's not all, you'll be able to bid to win the newly transformed camper van - with all bids going to BBC Children in Need. Brand new for 2014 - a Kids Driving School, which gives your children a chance to get behind the wheel! The Carfest wouldn't be complete without food! There'll be fabulous festival food from an early morning breakfast, a mid morning brunch, a full lunch, supper, treats and  snacks, to Britain's best and Cakes V Pies!  Of course the Carfest is all in aid of BBC Children in Need: 'The charity supports over 2,600 projects that are working with children who have physical, sensory or mental disabilities, behavioural or psychological disorders, who are living in poverty or situations of deprivation, or are suffering through illness, distress, abuse or neglect.'
