Not One(sie), Not Two, but FIVE steps to the Ultimate Birthday Party!

We're loving Katy Perry's new single 'Birthday' here at The All-in-One Company. In fact it got us thinking about the fun-filled birthday parties we used to have when we were little... So much so, that we've come up with the ULTIMATE Birthday Party Check-list to make sure that you can have the most fabulous birthday parties every year! OK so, Number1: Around one month before the party. Whether it'as your birthday, your child's, or if you're planning it for someone else, you need to pick a date, time and venue! (It doesn't have to be anywhere fancy, a garden is a fun, practical, and cheaper place to hold a party.) It's also wise to think of the entertainment and activities at this stage, just so you're prepared! Number 2: Three weeks before the party. It's time to hand out the invites... Gather up a list of people you want to invite.. Make sure you keep to sensible numbers though, or it could get messy! Whether you design your own, or buy them from a shop, make sure you include all the important details such as the time, date, venue and RSVP's. If you're planning a themed party make sure you et your guests know on the invitation, include colour schemes and dress codes - Now would be the perfect time to design and order your birthday onesie on our personalised onesie builder! (Make sure you get any dietary needs that your guests require, you don't want to be serving nuts to someone with a nut allergy..!) It would also be a good time to order the cake, that is, if you aren't making one yourself! Have a think about what you're wanting to put into your party/goodie bags for everyone at the party. Number 3: Three days before the party. Get in all the food you'll be serving at your party, all the decorations and accessories and any goodies that you'll be putting in the party bags. Make sure all your cameras have enough battery and memory (you don't want to miss out on any special moments.) Number 4: One/two days before the party: Bake your cake - if you didn't order one. If you did, then it's time to pick it up. Decorate your home/garden/or venue - wherever you decided to hold the party. Make any food that will need preparing. Number 5: PARTY DAY! Now the big day is finally here you can let go and have fun by enjoying your party! Get together with all your guests, have a laugh, and relax, enjoying all the food, decoration, and entertainment you've worked hard on for the past few weeks. (Psst... A little lovely idea... A week after the party send out 'Thank you' notes to all the people that attended.)   So, what you're going to need; Decorations such as balloons, party hats, bunting, streamers etc... Activity essentials - Arts and crafts etc.. Music! Tables for food (and presents!) Serving trays. Utensils such as plates, cutlery and cups.
